Era of new collaborative politic?

Hello readers,

Lately , I have been an advert reader and blogger of
Dr. Mahathir Mohamad daily blog. Below is one of my
recent posting - a call for action...

I have a dream and believe that internet is here to
stay and will change the working of traditional policy
making and lobbying (in this case) by giving or empowering
the larger mass - (by inversing the pyramid).

In this case making it possible for each individual to express
their opinion, believe and even more important to act on it.

Cheers,

Denny

Dear Tun and readers,

We need get beyond the mind set of tit for tat and
I like to believe the majority of rakyat is ‘mature’ and ready to go beyond this.

We should not loose focus that our ultimate priority is use all the energy
(force/brain/resources/riches) that are ours to move the country forward.

Following my last comment in ‘WHY DON'T I DO SOMETHING’ I would
like to repeat my call for action – to those who first believe they can make a
different and want to make a different for the future of Malaysia now.

Please drop me a short email to malaysiafuturenow@gmail.com

If we built this interest group/website – its first and foremost priority is to move
our country forward. And it should not be for any colour, races or politic,
just pure simple passion for the future of Malaysia.

Rakyat for the rakyat. This is your call. Act now! Print, email, spread this
Call to as many blogs, media or words to mouth as you can……

Yours,

Denny

I just find your posting a little interesting and maybe overambitious. In moving forward of Malaysia, we still need a leader that will steer the ship direction. Until now, we do not have a clear one. As Tun already have done what he should, I believed it is too much to ask him back to steer the country back. Whilst being an advisor would be value-added, however it is time we need a leader to step forward and layout the direction as well as start execute.... Just my 2 cents.

Hello Desmond,

Thank you for taking the time to post/share your thoughts.

That is just it, ambitious. Today Malaysia need an ambitious and clear path to have a break through.

Your remark is completely valid regarding the missing capable and visionary leadership. (and I do not expect Tun to make/take this role).

As A. Einstein said "The problems that exist today cannot be solved by the level of thinking that created them".

If we believe and are ready for a true collaborative era, the conventional pyramid with leader on the pinnacle could be inversed. Where we would have more than one leader supporting each other. As for the communication we can then appoint one 'face' that represent the interest of the larger group.

This might sound the same to the old ways (structurally speaking) but the difference it that you would have more than one leader (situational leadership) working together with equal commitment, influence and contribution.

Once you get the right core-group of people together, finding the way, step forward, plan and implementation will come naturally.

Thank you for your query and I hope that this clarify my point.

Regards,

Denny
